This series consists primarily of inter- and intra-agency correspondence to and from the staff auditors in the State Auditor's Office. In addition to routine correpondence with state agencies regaring requisitions, the records include the discrepancy files of each auditor. These files contain form letters to State Comptroller Tom Braswell regarding discrepancies in state reimbursement claims. Monthly reports on reconciliations of the records of the State Comptroller and the State Treasurer are also included. The records also contain policy and procedure memoranda from State Auditor Jan Cook.
